Growing up in Southern Maryland, George’s life has always been connected to the unexplained. From childhood experiences on the legendary Cry Baby Bridge to later encounters in historic buildings and schools across the state, he learned early that the paranormal isn’t folklore—it’s lived experience.
A year after graduating high school, George enlisted in the United States Army, beginning a 20‑year career that shaped the leader he is today. His military service instilled discipline, integrity, and a calm, methodical approach to high‑pressure situations. These qualities now form the backbone of the Society’s investigative standards.
After retiring from the Army, George continued to encounter unexplained activity in everyday places—historic workplaces, empty school hallways, and even the battlefields of Gettysburg, where an EVP clearly spoke the word “Louisiana,” echoing the regiment that once fought there. These moments reinforced a belief he had carried since childhood: the paranormal can manifest anywhere, and every experience deserves to be treated with respect.
Driven by decades of firsthand encounters and a commitment to helping others, George founded the Maryland Paranormal Society to bring professionalism, compassion, and credibility to the field. His leadership blends scientific methodology, historical research, and a grounded understanding of how the unexplained effects real people and real places.
Today, George leads a dedicated team united by a shared mission: to serve families, property owners, and historic institutions with integrity, clarity, and respect. Under his guidance, the Society approaches every case with the same principles he learned throughout his life—listen carefully, investigate thoroughly, and honor both the living and the dead.
